Weekend with Miken & Grace

This weekend I played with Miken 14u. We did really great for a couple of 8th graders. The team is so sweet, they bring people into the team and make them feel like family. Me and my friend Grace both played with Miken and felt like it was our own team. Mikens bats were ALIVE! So many balls hit were almost out of the park! For me I had 1 triple, 2 doubles, and a few singles. Our defense was great! Our pitcher was shutting people down. Sadly one of our pitchers got hit right in the shin and had a huge bump! She's doing alright now, and soon she will be back on the pitchers mound. Our defense was on point, but in the beginning it was a little shaky, then we got into a rhythm. Overall this past weekend was a success! Of course there is still room for improvement, but that's what practice is for. Just gotta keep working hard to see the best results in the end.
